Military mobile family of antennas with the following
basic characteristics:
- FREQUENCIES: operating bands within the spectrum from 30 MHz
to 26 GHz
- GROUND PLANE: antenna does NOT require a ground plane to
operate
- BANDWIDTH: narrowband and broadband models available
- COVERAGE: omni-directional in azimuthal plane
- POLARIZATION: linear, vertical (VPOL)
- PEAK GAIN: various models ranging from 0 dBi to +4 dBi
(VHF/UHF bands)
- INPUT IMPEDANCE: 50 ohm (RF), short circuit, grounded
(DC)
- VSWR: typical 1.5
- RF CONNECTOR: TNC, Type-N, SMA, user choice
- PATTERN STABILIZATION: guaranteed through redundant RF
balancing networks
- RF POWER INPUT: up to 250 Watts CW
- MECHANICALS: spring base mounted and strong radome designed to
survive impact by tree branches, etc.
- TEMPERATURES: -40°C to +85°C or -55°C to
+125°C, depending on model
- WIND SURVIVABILITY: 120 mph or 190 km/h
- HUMIDITY: 100% (VHF/UHF models), radiating element sealed
- FINISH COLOR: olive drab, black matte, grey matte or
white
