UC-300-B1
This antenna was designed for
shipboard and fixed site use, where direct,
simultaneous communications with satellite, ground,
shipborne and airborne platforms are to be
maintained. To fulfill this mission, UC-300-B1
antennas were designed to radiate a small portion
of the supplied RF power with Vertical
Polarization. At low elevation angles, where
ground, sea and air platforms are typically
located, both horizontally and vertically polarized
waves are radiated to match any type of antenna.
When the -B1 antenna is installed low, close to the
ground or a large metal structure, the vertically
polarized waves better survive earth multipath,
maintaining communications at low elevation angles
where other SATCOM antennas would fail.
Additional
Features: The UC-300-B1
is a complete, fully functional antenna system,
with built in 90 degree power hybrids and hybrid
loads. No other external components need to be
purchased. No external power supply, other than the
RF signal, is necessary for operation. The
radiating elements of the antenna can be removed
for easy transportation or for repairs. MTTR is
estimated at 1 hour with a power/battery operated
screwdriver.

UC-300-B2
A low profile UHF SATCOM antenna
ideally suited for surface vehicles, fixed sites
and shipboard applications where direct,
simultaneous communications with satellite, ground,
shipborne and airborne platforms are to be
maintained. Operation of the -B2 antenna is similar
to its predecessor (-B1), but its radiated fields
are richer in vertically polarized composition,
allowing it better performance in ground-ground
links. Mechanically, this model is very rugged. Its
design and flexible radiating elements enable the
antenna to survive travel in dense foliage.
Additional
Features: The UC-300-B2
is a complete, fully functional antenna system,
with a built in 90 degree power hybrid and hybrid
load. No other external components need to be
purchased. No external power supply, other than the
RF signal, is necessary for operation. The
radiating elements of the antenna can be bent
upward for easy transportation; they can be removed
